A real crowd pleaser: 275,000 visitors set record at Iwakuni Friendship Day
Leave it to a jetpack to make an impression. A rocket-propelled person - not a jet - awed crowds during the opening of the 2009 Friendship Day air show at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan. The hissing James Bond-type performance by JetPack International was scheduled for later in the day but was moved up to surprise the hundreds...The skies over Iwakuni will shine with the best aircraft on the planet showing what they can do. Jets, helicopters, acrobatic, and vintage aircraft will be thundering overhead. Below are some of the scheduled aircraft ... but keep your eyes open on May 5th, we may have some secret visitors!

Chugoku EXPWY - Yamaguchi JCT,-Sanyo EXPWY - Iwakuni Exit
The closest station is ‘Shin Iwakuni’ and only ‘Kodama’ which is a local train will stop at Shin Iwakuni station. So, please be careful, if you take ‘Hikari’ or ‘Nozomi’, you have to change the train to ‘Kodama’.
